Trump released a “VAGUE statement” about abortion??!!

Olly, those of us who SAW THE VIDEO and HEARD HIS STATEMENT disagree with you. There was nothing “vague” about it! Trump stated that abortion is back in the hands of the States, and the will of the people will decide. How much clearer could he have been??

Inconvenient truths really upset the WOKE LEFT & NEVER TRUMPERS!

1) The abortion issue begs for a national standard. A reasonable standard allowing for time to determine a pregnancy exists, exceptions for rape, incest and allowances for mature women and those with existing families.

2) It seems that most of the bad behavior and all of the people on megaphones leading pro-Hamas demonstrations are: yes, WOMEN. What's with that anyway? You go girl!

Assange is a coward, a narcissist and NOT a journalist. The U.S. should tell the UK extradition court that he will not be harshly treated and he should be sent to face a U.S. courtroom. He is a coward because he jumped bail by fleeing into the Ecuadorian embassy rather than face two (two!) accusations of rape in Sweden on the specious claim that Sweden would bow to U.S. pressure and extradite him to face the death penalty. He stiffed all of the supporters who’d put up the thousands of pounds in bail. He is not a journalist because he completely failed to curate the massive document dump sent to him, thereby endangering the lives of dozens of diplomats and agents whose names were revealed along with the grave charges about American war crimes. He is a narcissist because he stolen confidential information from the Democratic campaign in 2016, leaked to Wikileaks by the Russians, in order to help Trump’s run for office. Why an avowed Leftie like Assange would help Trump can be explained only by his narcissism - like Trump, for Assange it’s all about him. He has been made a martyr by the American-hating lefties.

All three writers in the Cupid section mentioned they are Christian. To anyone in Canada or Europe this is just incomprehensible. There are a lot of things one might seek in a partner but religion is surely not one of them. It would actually be something to avoid. I am with Christopher Hitchens on this issue.

“In a thousand years, Jews will remember Netanyahu’s name with scorn”.

In a thousand years, no one will remember Netanyahu, Bret Stephens, the NY Times or the Free Press. Or Biden or Trump. Let’s get real.

Lesbians in America will remember that the gay white men of San Francisco were not exactly welcoming partners in the fight for rights. And we're not exactly talking about ancient history here.

It's therefore always astonishing when I see lesbians bashing trans people. Straight white men like me have no complaints in the world (if we complain, tell us to shut the hell up). Every other group is nondominant to a certain degree. And yet they often oppose the interests of each other. That's why Prop 8 passed in California. Blacks and Latinos did not support the gay community. And now we are seeing, especially among the lesbian population, more rancor against transgender people. Why?

If you are a member of a nondominant group, and do not support other nondominant groups in their fights against The Man, do not, repeat, do NOT come whining to me about your issues. No "one-for-all" means no "all-for-one." Don't support? Then don't whine.

Bret Stephens thinks Bibi should go? Of course, everyone wants Bibi gone (including a majority of Israelis). But if Bret Stephens thinks he sucks, I may need to give Bibi another look.

So it's bad for humankind if Iran gets nukes. You should probably explain that one a bit more. Or are you just going for the Ayatollah bogeyman? Works every time, since 1979. What other countries with nukes are bad for humankind? US, Russia, China, UK, Israel, India, Pakistan, France, North Korea all have nukes. Which ones are a crime against humanity?

Iran wants nukes for the very same reason that North Korea did, and Israel, and China--so other countries with nukes don't attack them. As long as the US and Israel keep all missiles pointed at Tehran, the Iranians will want nukes.

Why is that bad for humanity? Unless you want to make the argument that ALL nukes are bad and should be eliminated, you can't pick and choose: "let's see, I for sure want Israel to have nukes, and I want Pakistan to lose theirs, and I want Iran to not have any."

Builttoill, I understand your point. Nukes, as you call them, are a dangerous threat, especially in the hands of tyrants.

My only disagreement with you is Iran openly hates & threatens Israel “ From the River to the Sea” and openly hates America, which after Israel will be “From Sea to Shining Sea”

YES, of course we have other enemies! China, Russia, North Korea, etc., and I believe their intent may ultimately be to take over America. But unlike Iran, religion doesn’t play a part in their ideology of death & destruction.

Remembering 9/11 and who attacked us.

Weren't 15 of the 19 hijackers on 9/11 Saudi? And zero of them were Iranian.

Before we start talking about who to kill, perhaps we should understand who really attacked us. If Israel wants to claim that Hamas is almost 100% a proxy of Iran, then we must all admit that the 9/11 hijackers were 110% proxies of Saudi Arabia.

And once people start doing that, I want to hear the plans for destroying Saudi Arabia. Because the Saudis have hurt America a hell of a lot more than the Iranians have done.

If the writers at the FP no longer use grammatically correct English, I will have to say goodbye. It’s one thing to play the pronoun game however you wish when talking to a person who lives in a fantasy. It’s an entirely different matter when supposedly providing facts to readers.

Oliver,

I’m not sure if I’m jealous about not being at the debate tonight. There’s very little debate over the question “should America close its borders?”

The answer is to that question is obviously no,. Unless you are indigenous to America, if that’s even possible to tell. Hopefully the question should be more like, should the federal government actually do its job in controlling the borders?

MAGA upset about AZ? Why? It is what you wanted. Let's promote it nationally.

Now....let's get ready for more AZ "stolen election" on TFP discussion board after the next POTUS election.

If the Democrats had a brain/balls - would do nothing and just let MAGA own this.

> "Biden gaining ground: A Reuters/Ipsos poll published Wednesday recorded a four-point lead for Joe Biden over Donald Trump. It’s the latest in a run of strong polls for the president, who has more or less drawn level with Trump in the Real Clear Politics polling average, at 45.3 to Trump’s 45.5."

POLLS ARE USELESS > ASK HILLARY. ;)

The talking heads that repeat nonsense NGO funded polls like the one above are telling US what they want US to believe.

Just more attempts to manufacture consensus to make us all question our choices.

WE THE PEOPLE know only the ELITE support BIDEN and they only make up 1% of the population.

Maybe some far-left progressives and folks with TDS, but that's it.

Not to say everyone else loves Trump, but what other options do we have? RFK possibly. I think he is doing well with some groups, but not enough people are taking him seriously.

In my opinion, in this current climate, Trump is unbeatable without cheating.

(I said this in 2020 and they installed Biden, so what do I know? I will admit I was heartbroken for our country. Not because of Trump per se, but because it was obvious that our voices were silenced that night and I wondered if we would ever get them back. I guess we will find out in November.)

The genius of Curb was there is a little LD in all of us. Each (uncomfortable …for me) episode of Larry’s unconscionable behavior would be followed a day or two later by me having my own LD moment in my own head. The interior impatience with the elderly lady at the checkout line. Etc.
