He is an active soldier headed to the Gaza border - there are few families untouched in some way by this disaster. Thank you for your prayers.

BIDEN HAS BLOOD ON HIS HANDS TODAY WITH THE BILLIONS HE GAVE TO IRAN WHO SUPPORTS HAMAS

Praying for everyone - this is Israel's worst nightmare. They will survive, but at what cost? Why does the world continue to repeat the lies of the hamas and palestinian narrative? This time they need to take Gaza out - no cease-fires.

Because I hate to say break this to you, they do so because it is in their own interest. A President “on the take” as we have with Biden, is not making decisions based on national interest. Let that sink in a bit. There is no way to explain sending $6 Bn to Iran just prior to this attack. They are the worlds premier terrorist state and use Hamas to torment Israel and divide the peaceful part of the Arab world and the easily fooled western left. They were not at all happy when Trump ended the treaty that Obama had signed and then went about getting Israel together with the rational Arab states, who altogether saw Iran as the real threat to peace. Yup that man of the mean tweets seemed to understand who to bargain with and who not.

Gun control seems like such a mistake for Israelis. Imagine if most of them, or at least the men, were allowed to be fully armed. They day would have gone differently.

Expand full comment

Maybe someone could explain why Israel has resisted developing a culture of armed self-defense like the US? Without resorting to clichés blaming private gun ownership for violence and crime?

But they are armed, aren’t they? At least in areas near Gaza I thought.

Expand full comment

Most terrorist attacks in Israel are neutralized by civilians with guns. But in most cases there are a handful of terrorists at most. This event involved 1,000s of armed terrorists who breached the border.

Expand full comment

Yes, some are armed. But sadly a pistol is not enough when you are outnumbered by terrorists equipped with machine guns and grenades.

Agreed. I've seen Israeli civilians in photos that have rifles and Uzi's (SMG's) but I am unfamiliar with the details of their gun laws. I have read that civilians are only permitted to own a handgun and max 50 rounds of ammo - that seems ridiculous considering the constant Islamic terror threat that Israel lives under, ESPECIALLY those living close to Gaza and the West Bank and Lebanon.

Not surprisingly the first word from the Biden Administration ( since deleted) urged Israel not to respond. What else would the Mullahs bagmen say. The Biden Administration is culpable in this act of terror.

Yup. Worst president in our history, and that’s saying something

We start our days with prayer. This morning was different.

Prayers for all who are affected by this terrorism

Prayers for those who find no other way than to terrorize

Prayers for Israel and her people

Expand full comment

"Prayers for those who find no other way than to terrorize" There are always other ways to respond than through terror....the act of terror, deliberately killing innocent people for a belief, is the basest of acts and the tool of evil. Why accept that evil is the only choice that any god(s) have given human beings?

Expand full comment

I agree with you

Sometimes it is a failure to look for an option other than the basest one and that is a real tragedy

Expand full comment

The tragedy is selecting evil when there is a choice. The attack today is not a sudden impulse and slip into evil, but a nourished tactic to deliberately target and kill civilians. This attack shows deliberate intelligence to perform an act against humanity rather than a military or diplomatic action to improve humanity.

You mentioned nothing about the ultra religious/orthodox, who have gotten a waiver from serving in the army and thus will not be sacrificing their lives to protect the country. I know to bring this up now is divisive, but perhaps this crisis will make that waiver in the near future untenable.

Praying for all Israelis that God bless you and keep you and may justice be swift, terrible and painful to these animals. The horrific videos and photos are burned into my memory, the women children and elderly. It’s sad and unfair. America is praying for your country. Fight with all you have - we, the citizens, stand with you.

America funded Iran. Iran funded hamas. We have blood on our hands 😢
