Parenthetically, I am a founding member and received "grief" from my wife for spending the money to gift both of my sons as founding members. My dear wife keeps the books in the family. I am certain that she considered the gift as a bit extravagant but upon hearing my explanation I think she understood the merits.

Okay, perhaps this will make its way to Bari Weiss' attention.

The New York Times has letters to the editor (in addition to comments section on some articles). It would be good to have a "letter box" for suggestions. This would be suggestions for articles that Barri might choose to take on and publish. To the best of my knowledge there is no way of making "recommendations" to Bari. Naturally she can choose to take on such topics or not take them on as dictated by her editorial privilege.

Naturally "Common Sense" is relatively new and growing so one cannot expect the same sort of infrastructure and the NYT. That said, people are no longer interested in corporate behemoths that are guided solely by monetary interests. They are interested in objective and truth based reporting.

An alternative to corporate controlled media is very important. Clearly the NYT is biased in its reporting and also in its decision on which comments to post or which letters to print. As a private company that is legal and to a degree understandable. However, apart from polish and sophistication how is this different from less sophisticated news sights such as Breitbart or Fox? d

I first saw you on Bill Maher, instantly loved the way you think. Brilliant. Honest. Not towing some party line. Thank you for making this substack, I will always support someone who believes in our Republic and has the courage to tell the truth, even when it has consequences.

Fantastic! Honored to be a founding member. Anything Bari Weiss writes is something I've gotta read.
